Experience That Runs Deep
Coy operates his own law practice in Floyd County, where he handles a wide range of legal matters—from criminal defense and civil litigation to family, corporate, and municipal law. As a Deputy Public Defender, he has defended everything from low-level offenses to serious felonies, always fighting for fairness and due process.

Faith, Family, and Public Service
Coy lives in Greenville with his wife, Sally, and their dog, Rocky. In their free time, they enjoy live music, cheering on their favorite sports teams, and relaxing with family and friends. They recently completed three years of service as deacons at Central Christian Church, a reflection of their deep-rooted faith and desire to serve others.
Rooted in Community
Coy’s commitment to public service extends far beyond the courtroom. He currently serves on the board of Brandon’s House Counseling Center, a nonprofit that offers free mental health support for teens and families. He’s also Vice President of the board at Muir Manor, a retirement home and ministry outreach of Central Christian Church.
His past and present board service includes work with Project Recovery, Carriage House (a preschool for children with autism), and the Kentucky Autism Training Center. Through these roles, Coy has worked to build stronger, healthier communities for individuals and families facing real challenges.
